The SLAPS panto for 2017 was 'The Pirates of Spilsby Quay (the curse of the magic lamp)'. This new panto has been specially written for SLAPS by local novelist, Ed Lane.

With apologies to Robert Louis Stevenson, it is loosely based on 'Treasure Island' and features a band of dastardly pirates led by Long John Copper and evil pirate Black Dog, intent on stealing the treasure from Squire Forlornly and the dashing Cap'n Willet Storm.

The show ran from February 14th until Saturday February 18th when there was both an evening performance and a 2.30pm matinee.
